Below Are Lists of Some Places to Visit in Europe:

Trier, Germany

Trier was once the capital city of the Roman province of Gaul. It has been a center for Judaism since about 210 A.D. The oldest synagogue in Germany still stands today and it is also one of the most beautiful places to worship. The building was erected in 1907 and was designed by Max Heiliger, who was a prominent German architect during his time. It features stunning stained glass windows and gorgeous decorations throughout the synagogue. If you are interested in history or Judaism, this site is a must see while you are visiting Trier, Germany!

Prague, Czech Republic

The Old Jewish Cemetery, known locally as the "Jewish Garden", is located in Prague's Josefov district. It was founded between 1439 and 1486, although it was closed to burials in 1787 due to hygienic reasons. Its approximately 12,000 tombstones have been preserved and restored. As part of the cemetery, there is also an old Jewish school building which survived the Nazi occupation. The cemetery has been used as a location in movies such as The Debt and The Illusionist.

Tiberias Synagogue

The Tiberias Synagogue is a fascinating historical site where Jesus was said to have taught. The synagogue is one of the oldest synagogues in the world, dating back to around 100 BCE. This site is located in present day Israel and it still remains as a functioning synagogue today. The Tiberias Synagogue was constructed on the remains of an old Roman Temple.

Tower of David Museum

This museum is located in Barcelona and displays many different artifacts important to Jewish history, including the Dead Sea Scrolls. Many people have said that this is one of the most significant Jewish museums of all time. It's a fantastic place to visit for those who love history or ancient artifacts.

The Spanish Synagogue, Budapest, Hungary

The Spanish Synagogue is located in the District VII of Budapest and is one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe. It was built in 1854 by Samuel Albrecht and is known for its Moorish style. The building was originally used as a church and when it was converted into a synagogue, it retained its Christian theme. The Spanish Synagogue is considered one of the most beautiful ones in Europe, not only because of its interior but also because of its Moorish architecture.

Terezin

Located near Prague, in the Czech Republic, this was a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. Today it has turned into a memorial site and museum dedicated to victims of the Holocaust. The grounds contain original buildings that were used by the Nazis during the second world war. The museum houses information about Nazi occupation and displays personal belongings of people who suffered at the hands of the Nazis.

Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona was once home to a large Jewish community. The neighborhood of El Raval still holds two synagogues, the Sinagoga dels serrallers and the Esglesia de Santa Maria del Mar. The Sinagoga dels serrallers was built in 1301. This synagogue was a center for intellectuals as well as a place for prayer. It is also one of the few remaining Sephardic temples that has not been converted into a church. The Esglesia de Santa Maria del Mar was originally built between 1283 and 1329. The synagogue was converted into the church of Santa Maria del Mar in 1391, but still remains an active house of worship today.
