Our collective wanderlust has been in suspended animation for so long, the idea of a warm beach vacation feels somewhat unreal. But don’t fret, it’s a new year, and in a couple of months time, we’ll be able to explore the world again freely. With that said, where do you plan on going once this pandemic subsides? The longest river of Southeast Asia, the Mekong is a nourishing waterway that provides food and livelihood for the many countries that live near it. Beautiful Wildlife
As a center of wildlife and biodiversity, the Mekong River is the home of a multitude of unique and fascinating creatures. There’s the rare Irrawaddy dolphin, the mysterious saola, and the majestic Indochinese tiger. Despite their individual majesty, many of these creatures are part of the endangered species list, so be careful if you ever see them in the wild.
